Don't have much to say on this Sunday...I just mostly needed to stop seeing Clay's face first thing when I clicked on my blog...hence let's look at some beautiful fall scenery instead, eh? Have a good one!

I'm Going Back...
I can't believe this was a year ago already...and I have to say I am ready to hop on a plane and do it all over again. I've recommitted myself to the European way of life...no shaving, hating Americans and eating lots of baguettes and I'm ready to go. It was such a great adventure and Randy and I had the most amazing time ever. So this time around I'm wondering who else wants to join me? You buy the plane tickets, I'll pack the suitcases...

That's a wrap
Thanks Carrie for some amazing photos last night. She was able to do a photo shoot with my girls and get some great shots...click here to go to her site for a preview. I'll post them directly on my blog later this week. She really is talented and has that gift for taking cool pictures and she happens to be pretty cool herself (even if she is pg and totally doesn't look it...hate people like that!) so go on, check her out... carrie shin photography!

A Wonderful Birthday
It was a great birthday filled with lots of wonderful surprises, dear friends, treats and lots of love! It started out with a yummy breakfast (even included a backscratch from a way too friendly older man) with Tara and Christine (thanks friends) then went on to a Cafe Rio lunch with Heidi, Tiani and Tara, again more FOOD! Then it was out to the Gateway for dinner and shopping with Christine, Kim, Cassie, and Rachel. Afterwards we were able to use the Sanctuary after they were closed for pedicures and pampering. (It sure helps to have a friend who has connections...way to go Chrissy Lou! Thanks.) It really was a fabulous day and all my friends were so great to keep me busy, especially because they knew Randy would be out of town.

Meet the newest member of our family...
So my birthday surprise came a few days early and I could not have been any more shocked or surprised!!! Today was an absolutely crazy day and I felt so stressed and overwhelmed with kids schedules and all the day to day happenings. I finally managed to get home around 9pm when the girls opened the door and told me to go straight to the kitchen. In all honesty, I wanted to get straight into jammies and into my bed but I did what I was told. You see, Randy is going out of town in two days and so will miss my birthday and he wanted to celebrate tonight. He had all the gifts wrapped and the cake was ready and it was party time. So I started opening my presents, which were all great by the way, but he kept hurrying me along and I couldn't figure out what the rush was. Sheeesh, I'd been running all day, can't I just slow down and enjoy the moment! So he then tells me that Hannah has one more gift for me and up she comes carrying this sweet 6 week old chocolate lab...WHAT?!!! I was so not expecting that and I have to admit I was in shock for a while. We had been kinda joking about getting one but had never talked seriously about it. Well low and behold...her she is and my kids had known about it before hand and they were so excited!! So now we will be having 2 female chocolate labs in the house. I'm not so sure about this. But I have to admit....she is soooooooooo stinkin cute. Still searching for a name for her, we are thinking either Molly or Marley, we think either goes well with Mocha! I guess Randy was thinking I needed something to keep me busy during the day....thanks babe, I love all my presents!
UPDATE: We went with MARLEY!

I have a wedgie over this....
Let me begin by saying I am not a follower of politics...say what you will...doesn't mean I'm stupid or that I don't care what happens to my country, because I do care. It doesn't mean that I'm burying my head in the sand on important issues but here is my truth...I CAN'T STAND IT!! I can't stand the way that our country is divided. I mean people are seething with hatred towards each other depending on which way they vote. As soon as anyone gives a speech or makes a political statement...it's like a swarm of vultures fly in, ripping them to shreds. Republicans and Democrats are so divided it's no wonder that we are at war...GOOD GRIEF people, we are at WAR with ourselves right here! It makes me crazy and as I try to follow along on the bigger issues I'm just not sure what is the plain truth. That's all I want are the facts...who can give me that? Anyone?
So sorry for my little rant but this has seriously got my panties in a big fat wad! And it's giving me a major wedgie. So c'mon people now, can't we all just get along? Kumbaya...
