On the GO

I'm STRESSED...let's just get it out on the table right now. It has been a crazy day and I need down time...so I'm gonna hurry and type this so when R gets home he will believe me and not say, "Sure you're stressed...I can see that by you being on the computer...AGAIN". It's all he thinks I do these days (partially true), and I hate when he's always right.

It started off at 5:30 this morning, and since I couldn't go back to sleep I made a 6am run to Wal-Mart for groceries. Man, that's the time to go ladies...I'm telling you, nobody is there yet and it is actually pretty clean. There were no slipper wearing, hair ratted, nascar lovin, crack showing people anywhere. (So sorry if you are a nascar fan...don't mean to belittle that sport...I'm sure it's a great one...Go Dale Earnhardt Jr...is he even a nascar racer?)

Back to the subject of ME and my day, so I work out at the gym, race home to shower and take Hannah to the doctors, race home again for a birthday lunch for a friend, leave early from that to race home to babysit a friend's baby (cute baby by the way) and after that help kids with homework, fix dinner, drop off dinner to Hannah at her volleyball game, go coach soccer for Hope's team, take girls home and finally race to parent/teacher conference...whew...did you get all that?

So a couple of things that ticked me off while in the process of this hectic day...1) Found out that Hannah most likely has a stress fracture in her foot and she'll be unable to play for 6 weeks, 2) When I took Hannah dinner, which I lovingly made, I dropped it off at her school but then found out that her game was somewhere else! At this point I couldn't take it there because I had 5 minutes to get to Hope's game. So we (Hope, Hudsen and I) ended up just eating it ourselves, poor Hannah! What kind of mother am I....letting my child go hungry? 3) The dinner I was making turned out tasting like dog squeeze ( I kid you not...although I have never officially tasted dog squeeze, this is probably what it tastes like) 4) And finally, there was so much frickin traffic driving to Hailey's school that I wanted to start foaming at the mouth and shaking so that people would think I was having a seizure and move their stupid cars out of the way!

Ok, I feel better now. But you know where I ended this day...in line at Cold Stone to get me a big 'ole cake batter ice cream. And you know what I did before I went inside my house...I ate the whole thing in my car in the garage, just so I wouldn't have to share with anybody!! Man, I am the NICEST mom ever (and also a big, fat PIG)

Thanks for listening...I bet you can't wait to hear about tomorrow...

Holy Ravioli, you had one heck of a day!! My word, I don't think I could accomplish all that if I wanted to. And PS--I would have sat in my garage and eaten that ice cream all by myself, too!! You earned it, woman! I love hearing you recount your day, by the way ;)

I love that we actually have a purpose for working out.. I too love Cold Stone..so much so that I could visit there daily. Lets give ourselves a name...like "CS gym rats" or "CS workout queens" or "the only reason we're here working out to a sweaty stinky pulp is so we can enjoy Cake Batter Cold Stone later"..whatcha think?

I am having an anxiety attack reading about you "On the GO!" Sounds like me some thirty plus years ago...only I didn't have
Cold Stone - I turned to Poppin' Fresh Pies-hard habit to break so now I'm the one that's poppin'...gotta go and have ice cream

Your day sounds like my life...does that make you feel any better? I didn't think so, but at least you know that you are not the only one who feels like you are doing 90 mph. and that we should make it a ritual to hit cold stone every night and hang out in a parking lot so we don't have to share with anyone!

Cake batter ice cream at Cold Stone is to die for! I love that stuff. Dog squeeze?? Is that the stuff that comes off their anal gland?? I am laughing so hard!! Gross, if dinner tasted that bad...you did deserve some Cold Stone. BTW, I love that you ate it in the car, I would do that before I had to share too. Some things are just too precious!!

I think you EARNED that ice cream -- I say yay for you for eating it all yourself. You needed it. What a day!
