White Out!

Well hello my fellow bloggers...I feel like it's been forever since I've been in the bloggin world!! Christmas was great...I'll post pictures later. Right now I am in Park City with my entire family watching it snow...we are pretty much snowed in...it is a blizzard outside. Low here is -3...so to say the least, it is COLD here. It's the kind of cold that makes your runny nose turn into icicles before it can drip to the ground! The kind of cold that makes your fanny an instant ice block the minute you step outside!

But it is kinda fun...there are 21 people up here, all stuck in one house (it's a big house) but it's great! We were going to go have brunch at the Homestead, but due to the weather, we are staying put. So we will stay warm by the fire and play games and eat all day long. Tomorrow we are supposed to go snowmobiling and sledding, that is if we can see an inch in front of our face:)

So for now I'll say goodbye and try and catch up on your blogs!!

Yikes!!!

So we saw "I am Legend" last night. Didn't know much about it...just knew Will Smith was in it (which, by the way, he is mighty buff in it) and I knew it was about him being the only person alive. That pretty much could happen! Oh, and the dog was his only companion..cute dog by the way.

I won't give anything away, in case you are going to go see this BUT...it was one of the SCARIEST movies I've seen in a long time. By the time the movie was over I had all but peed my pants (several times) and crapped down both legs!! I kid you not...it was not what I was prepared for. So just be warned...anytime there is a mellow part...be prepared to jump out of your seat!

And as a final note...you'll want to have vinegar with you for the ride back home...especially if it's dark outside. (Now that's something you'll only understand if you are actually brave enough to see this)

Don't say I didn't warn you...

A whole new level...

So I do believe that I have reached my all time highest level of OCD when it comes to my car! I have said before that I can not stand to have a dirty car, inside or out. This time of year drives me insane and I have to withstand the urge to wash it after ever snow storm, even if I know that it is just going to snow again the next day!

Here's the story: The other day I had just taken my car into the car wash, came home, dried it, vacuumed the entire car, cleaned some spots out of the carpet and so forth. I was doing a great, very thorough cleaning, if I do say so myself! So a couple of the floor mats were really dirty, so I thought I would bring them in the house and scrub them up. Then after that I was going to shower for the day. So I thought, "I might has well kill 2 birds with one stone", although I really am against killing any animal at all, but that is beside the point! So I had the brilliant idea to just bring the mats into the shower with me and clean them while showering! Yup, you heard me...I showered (naked) with my car mats!! I am sure this is quite an odd thing to do, even for me, but it just made perfect sense at the time. And let me say, it worked out quite well, even though they were a tad bit uncomfortable to stand on barefoot!

So there you have it...I am definitely a freak when it comes to cleaning my car. I just hope Randy won't be too jealous and shoot the poor things for seeing me naked :)

Hope your holidays are going well...one of these days I am going to sit down when I have some serious time and catch up on all your blogs...I miss my bloggin friends!!

This is kind of how I feel right now...wide eyed and green and hairy (Ok, not really green and hairy)...but mostly wide eyed and hurried! Life is busy right now, like I'm sure it is for everybody, but you should pay special attention to ME and my schedule! (Ok, I'm joking with that as well.)

Amy (Randy's sister) has been visiting from Japan, her husband is in the Air Force and is serving in Afghanistan right now. We have been having lots of fun and shopping till we drop. I am not kidding when I say that girl knows how to SHOP...she's even 7 months pregnant and still going strong. We love having her around and now she's off to Washington for a few days then back here for another week. Yeah!

My mom flew in last night from Florida and is staying here for a couple of days. I haven't seen her since June and so it is great to see her again. Nothing better than having your "mommy" at your house. I am sure we will fit in a mean game of speed scrabble here and there :)

So that is my life in a little nut shell....busy and nutty!!! Hope your Holiday is Green and Hairy (like my grinch friend) and that you are enjoying yourself.

Party Over Here!

After almost a month of my two youngest chillins being off track...they're GONE!!! No, No... I didn't ship them off to the North Pole to help Santa, I simply drove them to school this morning. As I drove away I might of heard myself saying, "Don't let the car door hit your butt on your way out"! Alright I didn't even say that, I did say "I love you, have a good day at school but no need to hurry home" Ok, I didn't really say that last part either!

So what I'm wondering now is this, WHERE'S THE PARTY? Give me a couple of hours, a few cocktails (really Diet Cokes) and I will be looking like this fella over here! Randy's sister is visiting us from Japan so we are off to do some Christmas shopping this afternoon.
So for those of you left at home with your sweet little ones...HAVE FUN!

Cutest Elves This Year!

Thanks Kristi for passing on this cute little number...I couldn't resist! My girls are gonna love this!

A good find

I know Sharla will appreciate this post!! Look at what I found the other night at IKEA...yep, these great recycling grocery bags. I thought they were super cute and so decided I would buy a bunch and give them as neighbor gifts. I mean, who doesn't like a good RGB? And if you don't then I guess you haven't caught onto the "Goin' Green" train!! Get hip people and climb aboard! I will put a cute red bow on them and a little tag explaining all their many wonderful uses...hopefully people will likey and not toss them into the recycling bin. Just thought I'd share my good find!
